Boomerang 1-3 is a program specifically designed to teach literacy to grades 4-6 FSL students. It supports students as they build their reading skills, and encourages them to use the written texts as a basis for their oral interactions.

Description

This junior-grade series of Boomerang readers is broken down into three levels, each featuring 5 original readers, including fiction and non-fiction titles. The readers are levelled: two easy, two intermediate, and one advanced. Each booklet contains captivating and colourful illustrations, appealing to both boys and girls.

The Teacher’s Resource Book contains lesson plans, over 150 reproducible line masters to save hours of preparation, a variety of assessment and evaluation tools, and a CD-ROM. The Boomerang Kit includes 6 copies of each title, the Teacher’s Resource Book and a digital accompaniment to project texts in front of the classroom.
