The teaching approach used by Accès is simple and thorough. It supports students in developing their competencies in French as a second language and it promotes their autonomy.
The Accès activity book includes 4 thought-provoking units, a Ressources section and a Grammaire section with supplementary exercises.
Each unit includes
- a variety of texts on interesting and stimulating topics, to encourage reading,
- activities to spark oral interactions,
- varied production topics that provide an opportunity to practise the text types presented in the Ressources section,
- contextualized grammar points followed by exercises to apply them (exercises and written production), and
- an exam situation to prepare students for the ministerial examinations (secondary Cycle 2, Year 3).
